Leo Buhler is a transplant surgeon, involved in kidney transplantation, experimental islet and hepatocyte transplantation. Current member of the IXA council and editor in chief of the journal Xenotransplantation. Chair, Swiss Organizing Committee for IXA 2025 in Geneva, Switzerland.
